We drove our camper away from home Tues. June 16. We have been in 90+ heat, with indexes in the 100's. In spite of that, we have had a wonderful camping experience with our family in La Grange, GA at a corps of engr park. There was water on 3 sides, and we could jump in at leisure. We even got Buddy to practice his swimming abilities. Now we are on the road, headed for Yellowstone NP where we hope the temps will be cooler. Tomorrow we will pass through Kansas City and more heat, so we will get an early start and an early stop. Hopefully, the weather will remain stable as we cross tornado alley.

Buddy The Pirate
