Spring has sprung

Happy Easter to you and all the beautiful things that accompany springtime. We were in Georgia for the Easter weekend, and the trees were in bloom, along with many daffodils and other bulbs. It was just gorgeous. We will be leaving our Florida home for North Carolina in May. We have committed to volunteering at New River State Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We are always excited about renewing friendships there. Can you believe it? I'm very excited about having a washer/dryer at the park this year. The superintendant gave us permission to put ii in the basement of the Visitor's Center, and one of the staff found a used set and purchased if for me. Last summer it would cost us $18.+ to wash and dry 3 loads of clothes at the laundromat. The little things we take for granted at home and forget to be thankful for. Sept. is very hot/humid in Fla., and it's the active part of hurricane season, so we will probably "roam" the mountains and stay cool until the middle of October. Hopefully, I'll find time and patience to post more on this blog. Hope all are well; we look forward to hearing from you, and maybe some visits???
