Beginnings Part II

From the ocean to the mountains... There is a little corner of heaven in NW North Carolina called Ashe County. It is north of Boone, and near the Blue Ridge Parkway. We worked for a private C.G. on the New River for 2 weeks and knew it wasn't for us.

By the grace of God, we found New River State Park and a brand new campground. The superintendant allowed us to come and be their first campground hosts! That was 2007. Now, in 2008, we have returned and will be here 4 months, until November 1st. We have found extended family and lifelong friends.
